In Mérévile, in the heart of Beauce, the Groupe Coisnon is specialised in the production and storage of onions, potatoes and in the sale of cereals.
Created in 1997, the group now employs 40 people (in 2014).
The companies' strategy is threefold:
• produce the best quality potatoes and onions
• satisfy the markets with adaptable packaging
• respect the environment, with a sustainable development policy.

Jean-Claude Coisnon, son, grandson and great grandson of farmers, grew up in Méréville, in the Menesard farm.
In 1985, he graduated from the Beauvais Institut Supérieur Agricole, and as an agricultural engineer, worked for over ten years in the international cereal trade, as a trader.

In 1999, when he returned to the farm, he began cultivating potatoes, on twenty hectares.
In less than 10 years, the surface increased from 20 to 500 hectares and the tonnes produced from 1,000 tonnes to 30,000 tonnes.
Annual production is now 50,000 tonnes.
